They're not as hefty as Stephanie Meyer's books (probably because the characters don't monologue all the time. XP) so they won't take forever to read.

And... he goes through... a lot of stuff.
Yeah I'm horrible at explaining things but "a lot of stuff" goes on in these books and I don't think you'd want to read a whole novel's worth of explanations when you can read the books.

When it comes down to vampire books though I prefer the Cirque du Freak series. I'm more of an action-loving type of person while Twilight has more talk (mind you, I still like Twilight... I'm just not "in like" with it :P).
